Jennie Eva Hughes Multicultural Student 领导 Award
In 1899, Jennie Eva Hughes became the first African-American student to graduate from the University of Idaho. 这个奖项, named in her honor, is given annually to students who have shown genuine concern and interest toward multicultural issues and worked on behalf of multiculturalism on campus.

这个奖项 is available to all undergraduates. Students may be nominated by 教师, administrators, 工作人员 or other students. Students can also nominate themselves. The award is part of the ASUI Student Achievement 奖 in 领导 and Service to recognize individuals who have made contributions to student activities, campus and community life.
提名 will be accepted in early Spring 2023.

团结 Service Medallion
团结 as an umbrella multicultural student organization which works in partnership with the Office of Multicultural Affairs to address concerned with diversity, 访问, 包容, and benefits greatly from the passion, 奉献, 愿景, and commitment of many individuals who work tirelessly in many capacities.
The 团结 Service Medallion recognizes positive contributions from students, 教师, 工作人员, and/or community members that enhance and advance 团结 愿景 and goals on and off campus. The Service Medallions are only a small gesture to acknowledge, 庆祝, and honor those individuals and their contributions.
资格 & 提名
这个奖项 is given to 教师 or 工作人员 that have worked at the University for at least a full year and/or a community member that has been on the Palouse for a year.
这个奖项 is also given to full time undergraduate/graduate students part of a 团结 organization and have been active for at least one semester with a minimum cumulative 2.7日平均绩点.
The medallion is generally awarded during the OMA/团结 End of the Year Banquet held at the end of the spring semester.
